Habitat—In Sub Tropical, Warm Temperate, Dry and Littoral Rainforest. Distribution— North from the Kempsey district in New South Wales and into Queensland. Description— Medium–sized to tall shrub to 5 m high. Local occurrences— Raintrees Diamond Beach and The Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney.

Leaves.— Narrow–elliptic, base gradually tapered into a distinct petiole; blades 30 to 85 cm long, 4 to 15 cm wide with a few apical teeth, veins longitudinal; petiolar portion inrolled, 12 to 45 cm long, 0.3 to 0.6 cm wide. Inflorescence.— Flowers white to pale lilac. Flowering.—Summer Fruit.— Globose, 0.7 to 1 cm diam., red, seeds shiny black. Ripe.— Autumn |
