The Manning Region covers an area of some 3,752 square kilometers reaching as far west as Nowendoc, north to John's River and south to Bunya. Being less than 3 hours north of Sydney on the Mid North Coast it is a popular holiday destination.
Commonly referred to as "The Valley" it has as its principal center the city of Taree with the surrounding towns of Harrington, Old Bar, Wingham and Hallidays Point.
